Very happy!

For the people who have followed him, is he genuinely a good contested mark with good hands or is his highlights just a product of playing with less pressure, more space and against junior opponents?

Impressed with his aerial ability, but I wonder if he requires space to run or leap into to be effective at AFL level. I haven't seen much of his positioning at contests to make a call.

Perfect scenario where best available and team needs match up.

Kid already has a bit of size, can only image what a few preseasons are going to do. If he ends up adding another cm or two, then he'll really be in the sweat spot for a 'power forward' as he calls it

happy harold ramis GIF

Very excited to have Nate come to The Hangar The (Caddy) Shack.

Dodo tried and failed to get his uncle, but Jackets never rests!

Very happy with his selection. From my very limited knowledge of the draft pool (reading Bigfooty and watching YouTube) I believe he's a perfect fit for our forwardline.

Also I'm usually very critical of the club and Dodoro in particular, however I will say this; I'm stoked they traded up for Caddy. Stoked. They were willing to pay the price to get the player that they wanted. From the outside it looked like they had a clear plan and were ready and willing to make it happen. Good work.

Already like him better than Joe

I was going to ask about his kicking as I remember earlier in the year people saying it looked quite bad. The set shot now looks nice and simple. Like that he has the left foot snap from angles in the repertoire. Certainly see the comparisons to Oscar Allen with the long arms and the way he marks.

Love the fact he is "arrogant and mean". Really love that. Traits we need.
hoping this is accurate, need some mean players to give it to the opposition

I think Caddy will be very good for the Dons, however, did you need to give pick 31 away to move up 1 place? If Geelong had wanted Caddy they would not have agreed to the trade. This suggests the cats were not going to pick Caddy.

Might suggest that other teams were trying to trade up. Twomey said predraft that west coast might try to trade in for him if Curtin was off the table.

Twomey mentioned in the recap that other clubs were trying to trade up to Geelong's pick. It was a smart move to secure the man we wanted (and need). 👍
