had a bad year through injury mainly i guess

i thought his game against port was probably his best game so far

definitely in our best 22 for round 1

hopefully he can get injury free and be a more consistent contributor

Had only 12 games this year and was restricted by injury. During the year Liam Anthony and Ben Warren burst onto the scene, as a centreman and mid to small forward respectively, taking up his 2 main positions.

Where does he go to from here in terms of position assuming Anthony and Milky are both right for Round 1? Backline isn't an option because it is finals side quality and if we pick up a gun midfielder at pick 5 (which I bloody well hope we do) there isn't really a spot for him if all of Anthony, Wells, Ziebell, Swallow and Pick 5 are fit for Round 1.

Forward line would be dominated by Boomer and Milky smalls wise.

What are the little fella's options?

Your funny.

Warren is a medium sized lead-up forward. He has effectively taken Corey Jones' spot. Campbell is a pure crumber and there is always room for those.

We really missed him this year.
He is very important.

Absolutely.

You can always pluck small, nippy types from the draft and plonk them in a pocket.

Quality ones are alot harder to come by, Matty is a top quality crumber.

If FLash went down, would give Ross a chance to nail a spot, which is not all bad.
That said, it would also be nice to be going into the season in good shape as a squad physically.
Last couple of years have not been great on that front.

No panic (for the same reasons as not panicking over Drew's injury).

Lets just hope its not season ending and wish the guy a speedy recovery.

Now, if Matty did his knee or hammy pulling on track suit pants on The Bounce last night that will be the last straw.
We desperately need to buy some of those OH&S compliant breakaway tracky dacks
