Agreed. The whole Frawley/Franklin compensation fiasco is just another in a long line of laughable outcomes from a League that tries to sell the idea of being even. Compensation should have always been based on the contract value of the exiting player.

I'd say our highest offer is already on the table. If norf are offering 200k per year more we won't match and nor should we.

Unfortunately for us this is the game the Martin/Carr camp have wanted to play & due to Martins form may have priced us out of the game. My only worry if Norf are dumb enough for a attempted quick fix and offer 1.6 to 1.7 million a year for 7 years, we will not match. That is what they would have to offer to take him. I would be gob smacked if they offered that level of coin as that will **** them as they need to rebuild and Dusty, even though he is a elite mid is no Buddy franklin.

Still believe Dusty will stay a tiger.

An extra million + is a hell of a lot of money to earn over a footy career.
Then again so is 7 to 8 million to begin with.
When you are talking such large sums of money where is the tipping point? How much of a difference does it make to how you live? Your investments? Your unborn childrens futures?
This is the 10 million dollar question Dusty faces.
I personally have no idea.

Yep. Reckon if it was anyone but Carr he would be staying but he has got in Dusty's head and somehow made Nth sound like an attractive proposition.
