4 coaches are in their first season (harvey, bailey, knights and ratten) - they won't get sacked

6 coaches are premiership coaches (bomber, chocko, lethal, malthouse, roos and worsfold) - unlikely to get the chop

of the remaining 6 coaches - 4 of them are impressing this season or are continuing to impress, given their list (clarkson, eade, craig and laidley)

this means, wallace and lyon are in the red zone

Probably no-one sacked while the season is still going this year. but do you think we'll go into 2009 with the same 16?

If Collingwood or St Kilda completely miss out on the Finals, I could see Lyon or Malthouse being under heaps of pressure. Probably won't get sacked though.

Here's a fun game, spot the odd one out.

But I don't think any coaches will get sacked this year either.
Malthouse is the only one not to have coached his current side to a premiership. Therefore the fact he's a "premiership coach" counts for sweet FA.

I reckon at least 1 will go. We didn't expect any to go 2 years ago and then suddenly Thomas was given the boot after taking the Saints to the finals for the 3rd consecutive year.

I would say that Malthouse, Craig and Williams are the most vulnerable.
Then again, maybe Stynes might pull another McNamee and bone Bailey because his hiring wasn't ratified by the current board.
