After this next Trump Presidency, it won't matter how incapable Joe Biden was. His lack of competency will pale into insignificance to how much Trump is going to stuff the economy at the behest of the highest bidder, foreign or local.

If any of Trump's policies are a success, I will admit to it.
I'm more critical of Biden on policy than anyone here. Most Trump supporters just complain about his brain, or Hunter or some other nonsense.
Always happy to discuss the merits of policy.
Will you state which of Trump's policies will be of benefit to anyone outside the top 5% of earners?
Will you call him out for not fulfilling things he campaigned on?

I mean we saw this with Biden. Republicans ran an expensive, pointless impeachment inquiry only to shut it down quietly the moment he announced he wasn’t running again. Biden was completely acquitted, but it worked as a smear tactic.

Raises hand gingerly. But also, yes, it feels like many people have abandoned political change and have just taken to personality politics. Trump’s a chronically lying, dumb, rude, arrogant arseh*le or Biden’s a corrupt, senile, scheming rat. There’s truth in both descriptions but also, I would take either descriptor if the person was achieving the things I thought were important - but that part seems secondary.

I am no fan of the Dems nor Biden, but the ongoing dishonesty of Trump is unprecedented from a US president in the country's 200+ year history.
Pretty much anything negative or bad we could accuse Biden of, Trump has been many times worse.
Not sure how I can make that any clearer.
He is worried that a mendacious, non law abiding narcissistic sociopathic conman, will do what all such people do when given the opportunity. Come after everybody they don't like, or who opposed them, to send a clear warning to everybody. If you don't do what I want, I will get you.
He is preemptively removing the legal system, as a means.
I think Trump will still try, but reasonable to not make it easy for him.

I think she almost definitely is, but maybe not in 2028. Though I also feel like the longer she’s staying in Washington, the more her stock is falling.

They won't. Many still harbor outdated "womens roles", question the intelligence of women, and hate the idea of a female in power. Running with Clinton, and then Harris, sadly put them on the back foot instantly, by the fact they were female. As much as I hate to say it, running AOC will go against the Democrats, even if she was well qualified.
The whole American electoral / political / legal system is a joke which has only smacked many people between the eyes from 2016 onwards. It is an antiquated, bs system starting with a gerrymander electoral college finishing with Supreme court judges installed by the government of the day and just pot luck if they are required.
