It's simple. If Trump appoints accolytes to enough important posts, then decisions will be made based on what Trump wants, and not what the law/regulations/propriety says.

The left losing elections because Trump has so rigged the process that they cannot win irrespective of public support will piss of the left.

We can deduce this is the plan on the basis Maga has said this is the plan.

As a little intellectual exercise. If Trump had picked a devoted acolyte as VP, instead of Pence, and that VP had done everything Trump wanted last election, would that have annoyed the left?

Even then there is an anarchist component of them (which makes no sense as the movement is literally about anti fascism), so it’s a fraction of a small percent and have no influence over anything anywhere near the corporate democrats.

So left leaning doesn’t equal anarchists who are tiny in number and have no power or influence over anything, it’s chalk and cheese compared to MAGA.

Not sure how you've come to question this, thought my allusion is that I'm not of maga opinion was quite clear.

So let's be clear, IMO maga thinks that anyone left of themselves is fringe left, even sensibly centred left leaners.

Sensibly self centred lefties are by and large fans of liberal democracy, and let's also be clear those in the centre overwhelmingly outnumber those with fringe views.

Which is why IMO, IF it is maga's aim to annoy the fringe left then it'd be an own goal. It doesn't make sense.
