This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

What this means is that you will be asked time to time to support your claims with evidence, to ensure that this forum is as free of misinfomation as we can make it.

Bulwark Podcast had Ann Selzer on this morning , her Poll has serious form and as she explained the Harris support amongst older women who intend to vote is massive and probably more than enough to counter his strength with younger men.
Interestingly when you dig into her survey data the predominate reason is Harris will respect Democracy with Abortion as the next most significant reason.
Iowa is only 6 ECV's but if the trend in this Poll extends to the other Swing States Trump is toast.
James Carville , the crusty old commentator , predicted a landslide type result to either candidate and not a close race.
God I hope he's right and it goes the way of team Kamala..............

Was the absolute worst poll he could have received and from the absolute best pollster. I, too, feel everything is pointing to a landslide.

Harris' betting odds have come back in and, interestingly, a few pundits have flipped their predictions from Trump back to Harris. Hopefully this is true but you also know it sets the platform for Trump's claims the election was stolen ('all the polls said I was gonna win, then at the last minute, I didn't, it was clearly rigged'). I hope Harris has the fortitude if she wins to just respond to any questions about Trump with 'he's irrelevant to America's political process now, we don't even need to address him'. Would be the final humiliation for the weasel.

Yeah he will do all that but using his same non logic, that will mean 2016 was rigged for him and 2020 (even though he lost) as both times he out performed the polls.

All trumps rallies are facist rallies though. But doing it in new york got a lot more media attention. Having a rally meant for the base get mainstream attention may proove one hell of a backfire.

Again while interesting I'm not overly concerned as it seems more women are voting early - which one would hope trends Harris

I don't think these figures are particularly relevant, the Republicans actively encouraged people to vote on the day in 2020 whereas they are urging people to vote early this year, so naturally there will be an increase at this point. I would suggest there will be an equivalent decrease in people in these categories voting on the day.
