This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

It might also do with reminding a few that when you post on the SRP, you are responsible for backing up/verifying your claims to fact. What this means is that you will be asked time to time to support your claims with evidence, to ensure that this forum is as free of misinfomation as we can make it.

He grew up in a Nazi country, a nepo kid benefiting from an industry that was infamous for it's for Apartheid era human rights abuses which he fled at the first sign of majority rule. If it looks and smells like a pig it usually is.

he is pro capitalism, pro free speech, hires a lot of minorities at his companies etc etc etc, not something i would think a Nazi would be doing.......considering all of these are against their basic ideology.

Nazis were anti-capitalist from 1933 onwards. Privatisation isn't capitalism as it is not a free market.

Nazis don't have elections to be interfered with. They ban other parties from existing and create a dictatorship. They then waged a campaign on violence on other parties. Is that what you are suggesting Elon supports?

Liberals will blame Labor for high inflation (they are already in their campaign adds), when the Inflation started going up under Scott Morrison and was higher when he left office, than it is right now. Most people won't care or even know that they only care what's going on right now when they tick the box.

Elections are a lot about punishing the other party, than it is actually picking the better party. Whether its right or wrong People have and always will vote with spite

Folks larp about Ukraine and Taiwan and what have you, and I'm hugely glad I'm not an undocumented Honduran in the States, or an LGBTQIA+ person.

But reality is bird flu under him will explode if it gets bad aka human to human.

Biden was piss poor on it for political reasons, laying the groundwork for another pandemic, this one far worse than COVID.

But under Trump it has the potential to be something we've not seen in living memory.

Not sure about that, Trumps policies can and likely will have an impact on us. The only thing is whether they will be small or big.

I don't see the sky burning down, but if he goes full tariff mode, that can absolutely cause us issues. Bond yields, OCR, AUD etc etc etc.
