No you disputed 3 separate verifiable articles, only accepting the L when you were provided with a 4th that was irrefutable.

You kept this going much longer than it needed to.

.org is generally not for profit as I said. It's much more trustworthy than 99% of other sources provided.
Yes, I asked for definitive proof. Not a 100 word blog post with a broken link.

Well, it is to a point, I'll agree on that much.

Still, it isn't up to the USA to accommodate them if they're there illegally, unless you want to pop your tinfoil hat on and blame the CIA for all the disruption in their countries that they fled from, of course ;)

I might join you in that case...

That’s another big part of it.

The underclass prop up the agricultural and industrial economy.
The overseas conflict props up the military industrial complex economy.

The upper class create distraction.

And the world keeps spinning.

It’s the Murdoch cookie comic, always and every time.

A dot org site is not a 'blog post.' Your dismissal of that very simple fact shows that you prefer to engage in the fanciful, rather than accept Occam's razor.
I'd be an idiot to accept an article flooded with ads, a broken link and no sources, just because it's a .org post.

Want me to find one that slams immigrants and paints them as the devil? Because without checking, I reckon there's probably a few.

Next you'll try telling me Wikipedia is an unbiased and reliable source of info

On a long enough scale we're all illegal immigrants... it's always funny when countries pick and choose to give the underclass a scapegoat.

Much simpler than improving their situation through political means. Just blame the immigants:

Won't somebody please think of the children.

You are both on similar page. Unfortunately a lot of legit articles have littered ads on them. And I’m glad not a total dismissal of information as it comes in.

Of course there will be...but they still use statistics and facts, then skew their view right to achieve their stated aim.

Doesn't change their statistics or their data. .org sites usually provide data. Data is irrefutable... it's just how you choose to interpret it.

It wasn't the site's opinion that illegal immigrants pay taxes...it was peer reviewed sources (other academically verified sources providing data), that allowed them to print that data.

You're not disputing the websites political slant, you're disputing data with peer reviewed supporting evidence... that's where your interpretation of bias or that it's not 'definitive proof' has no grounding.

I'm disputing the one article linked, that spewed a bunch of unsourced numbers with no link, then was told to 'do my own research'.

No thanks, if a link is posted, it should clearly articulate the argument presented, which the latter one did which is why I accepted what was written.

Friday night massacres are back in Trump Land.
The White House late Friday fired the independent inspectors general of at least 12 major federal agencies in a purge that could clear the way for President Donald Trump to install loyalists in the crucial role of identifying fraud, waste and abuse in the government.

The inspectors general were notified by emails from the White House personnel director that they had been terminated immediately, according to people familiar with the actions, who like others in this report spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the private messages.

The dismissals appeared to violate federal law, which requires Congress to receive 30 days’ notice of any intent to fire a Senate-confirmed inspector general.
Oversight of some of the government’s largest agencies was affected: the departments of Defense, State, Transportation, Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Energy, Commerce and Agriculture, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, Small Business Administration and the Social Security Administration.

I also posted 2 other articles sir.
I agree some links get messy and I should have paid more attention to not cause confusion.

Trump is testing the limits of his power Week 1. Once he knows he can break precedent and law, he won't stop...until he's instilled as King.

This sounds farfetched, but it's the from the literal oligarchy playbook. See what you can get away with, and keep pushing the boundaries until the line between law and 'order for the country' is blurred enough that instilling no term limits seems like the right thing to do.

He's not ****ing around this time. The man believes he's a messenger from God, and was spared to bring about his will. He's also backed by the richest man on the planet, and the majority of his nation. This abuse of power is just the beginning.

Sorry CatGPT but it wasn't a majority.

Sorry CatGPT but it wasn't a majority.

You're a mod, do better. What a shit-house comment.

The majority of the nation who voted, voted for him. He won the electoral college, and he won the popular vote - by 2.3 million votes.

EDIT: As stated by Liz, correct that it wasn't a majority - but the aforementioned comment...unprovoked might I add, was not on, for what was clearly a marginal error.

I'm happy to accept my error, maybe accept your part in a slight that was unnecessary and provocative, all for the crime of getting something wrong. Cheers for that hey?

It remains a fact, however, that he received less than 50% of votes counted. So not a majority, albeit by a narrow margin.

I think it is you who owes the apology to Ghost Patrol.

I just looked up the exact figures and yes that's correct that it was 49.97 percent 49.8 percent.

The catGPT comment was way out of line for a mod though - and I stand by that.
