The 4th match in the Commonwealth Bank Series heads to Adelaide with the two rivals from the summer once again going head to head.
Australia are 2 from 2 after surviving a late scare against Sri Lanka while the World Champions kicked off their campaign with a convincing win over Sri Lanka after losing to Australia in a rain affected opening match.
India look to have put their rotation policy aside with the news in the media suggesting an unchanged lineup for today's match. That means Gambhir will once again miss out. Kohli is fast establishing himself as the best ODI player in the world at present with his consistent performances in this format. His 77 helped India cruise home against Sri Lanka and he was in superb touch when he raced to 31 before being undone by McKay. As usual the Tendulkar 100th hundred is still on the line however much of the talk about this has died down as Sachin has continued to falter.
Mike Hussey is the first of the Aussies to be rested with more to come in future games. Hilfenhaus brief ODI revival has also been stalled for the time being as he has been sent back to Hobart however the rotation policy is common place for the bowlers so some changes are bound to occur later on.
Peter Forrest should be set for debut this time after a false start in the last match. That false start meant Forrest missed out on a Shield clash, the same one that Mitch Marsh got released for. Marsh should add to his 1 ODI performance today but who for is the question. David Hussey bowling hasn't been used in either match thus far so he may be the one to make way for Marsh. Christian would be the normal candidate to make way for Marsh but will the selectors deny him a match in his home town?
With no rain around this match should be a 50 over match. India love this format and Australia still have their batting woes so this should be a good tight contest.
