Is Bontempelli an elite kick?
Yes

For me the kicking will never become very good/elite. Will also say its more an on the run kick issue, his stagnant kicking seems pretty solid

Therefore I think he needs to work on his aggression and hardness inside the contest. Also not an easy thing to improve, body mass will obviously help the confidence, i reckon Cotchin is the player ive seen drastically improve that area the most

I'm not really sure this is true. Kicking at goal is pretty good, but he seems to turn it over more than you expect. 18th in the league for turnovers. For context, Nic Martin is 11th. Patrick Cripps is 2nd for clangers.

I think what sets them apart is they're also goal kicking midfielders. I think if Tsatas can extract consistently but also hit the scoreboard he can fit the same niche they do.

Nevertheless I think he should play more than 11 senior games before people start adjudicating him on his kicking.

Russell Westbrook?

Russ has quite the resume. 15 year career. League MVP. Has a finals appearance and has basically been a playoffs guarantee his whole career.

His best comp is probably Rory Sloane although Dylan Sheil is a fair comp as well.

People rate Tsatas as a taller Sheil but that size matters and changes the impact they can have. Hence the Scotty Barnes comp

Bont takes on alot with his kicks, bit like Martin was doing. High impact if they pay off. They also get alot of the footy and kick it alot

I had issues with Tsatas kicking at 17, its more a technical thing, whereas Bont is technically pretty pristine

Worpel, Nash, Kennedy, Wines, Watson the list goes on arent great kicks and have made it. Cripps os probably another that aint a great kick, Hewett, Dunkley ect but these guys have other areas which im questionable with Tsatas on but imo can be trained and improved a bit more than a kick

If you want a real talk nba comparison, especially with the way people wanted to package him and 9 to move up slightly...

its michael beasley.

hopefully he ends up more like Banchero than super cool beas.

How about Aaron Gordon?

Good size. Very athletic. Poor shooting. Can playmake.

I’d say Gordon’s comp is more a Biclavs or Sicily type. Gordon’6’9/10 and mostly a defender.

more a play finisher who can move the ball vs your primary creator which is Burst Midfielder.

Tsatas is More Zion Williamson but with different less self inflicted body issues

Zion and Stringer have a lot in common
