Hello guys, as you are playing us this week (and therefore have us in mind), I was hoping you'd take a read of our #bringbackthebars campaign and sign our petition at www.bringbackthebars.com.

The last time we were ‘allowed’ to wear our historical colours was against you guys. The argument that they ‘aren’t’ ours was won then.

This campaign is not about changing our current guernsey, but about being allowed to wear our traditional guernsey on occasion, without the stipulation of having to beg Collingwood every time. Your support is very much appreciated.

The Prison Bars jumper is one of the best in the league and I definitely would like to see Port Adelaide wear it. You have my support!

I've never understood why Port hasn't brought back the bars using teal instead of white. Gives Collingwood nothing to complain about.

If that's not an option, I think you should be able to wear the prison bars in showdowns.

I think the love we got from your fans when we beat the Crows in the GF outweighs the pisstaking from you guys when we kicked against the wind in that final ... but only just. Petition signed!
I'm a real traditionalist and have never seen any reason why you shouldn't be able to wear that jumper sometimes. I think it's good that Power has it's own identity but just look at how often the Lions wear the Fitzroy jumper.

I'd be happy for Port to wear their prison bars every time we play them in Adelaide. Make it a tradition, but on the condition that they can only do it against us and not other teams.

Hahah, it’s a bit of a raw nerve the teal prison bars.
There would be a revolution if the club ever tried it!

I don't get this jumper stuff. Wear what you want until you clash with someone then the pre-existing VFL/AFL jumper wins and the other team wears a clash jumper, and Collingwood can shut their foul toothless gobs. I don't think that should be difficult for anyone and it is fair.

What wasn't fair was Adelaide comes into the comp with a jumper so similar to ours that we are forced to abandon our traditional strip in a Grand Final so they can wear the jumper they chose that clashes with ours.

It should be the first jumper gets precedence in any clash and if you don't like it, design something different for your principle guernsey. Apart from that wear a suspender belt and stocking if you want.
