Xavs will struggle without Ricks. Big loss for them, especially when they were starting to look dangerous.

Talking about big stars in the Amateurs, rumour has it that big Fergie from Collegians has found an industrial-strength tape, which he will apply to his aching joints (Bruce Reid-style) to play again for the Lions. Fergus will no doubt give Collegians confidence that they can sew-up a place in the top four.

The top four positions may come down to the last game of the season again with Xavs, De La and St Bedes looking strong so far to fill the top 3 spots. Collegians, Brighton and Scotch should be the contenders for the 4th position.

Correct me if I'm wrong but RIX (not Ricks) hasn't played at all this season! And seeing they have won 6 from 7 without him makes me think they might have the right balance in that area - but I could be wrong And i doubt it

Rix just recently got a job in Perth. Not sure what WAFL team he is lining up for but is heading west. He trained at Xavs to stay fit but has not played a game, never signed forms to clear him to Xavs, and will not play there this year.
I could find that I am wrong. But I will be surprised.

That is the talk around the Lions den but whether it happens in another story.. I think you'll find if he plays it will not be for the seniors or in a role which you would normally find him to be in..

m curcio who was second best on for SBMT is a hack.. he shouldn't have been with dragons, he shouldn't be with zebras.. while the rest of us are out living our lives this prima-donna has been training 6 nights a week since he was 15 to become the average footballer he is today.. i doubt you will see him in the bests in the close games against hard sides like xavs

firstly the worst ever on an afl list was a bloke called glen shivers who was on st kildas rookie list last year, was kicked off it this year and can't get a game at vfl 1's level..

and i have nothing against bedes.. collins can be a good ammos player he was just lucky to be on an afl list and yes it does annoy me.. and curcio is shit...

on the other hand the richards, brown, hellier, mcgettigan, tyquin......etc. i think are all guns and capable of big things at this level at least
