I don't think 7 will go to Essendon. Only if their future 2nd round pick comes back would it even be considered (as they're likely to finish in the bottom 2).

Our first trade will be be very early in trade week. 7 out to either Cats, Lions or Doggies. That will bring Dudoro into the reality that he doesn't have much in the way of leverage.

Surely Carlton’s 7 + 27 for Geelong’s 13 and 17, then 17 goes to Essendon for Saad.

I don't think they will finish bottom 4, even if they lose JD, Saad and Fantasia, they will bring in some mature talent. They also have some talented youth
I think their major issue so far as that goes is that they won’t attract established talent this year.

They could really do with a Luke Hodge type of player, though. Someone like Shannon Hurn or Sydney’s Josh Kennedy would be great.

I think "needs" should be the focus, such as a big bodied extractor, but you don't have to pay overs for those types.

They will have decent currency if and when they lose players, to attract players

Value isnt unrealistic. I see his value in the 16-20 range

Either way, I would suggest most list managers would look to split pick 7 for 2 late 1sts or trade back to still have a late 1st for Saad

Only way I would handover pick 7, is swapping future 1sts 2nds + their 3rd this year

I think 7 + 3rd rounder for Saad and our 2nd is fair not 7 for Saad straight up

They were the 2nd worst team over the final 12 rounds of the season. I doubt they will improve by much if at all.

They must be thankful that the Roos have so many issues otherwise it would have them as short priced favourites.

I don't see it that way, things can change quickly and their list isn't bottom 2, but it certainly needs a refresh

Alternatively 7 + 27 for Saad + 16/17 (Daniher pick). Directly with the bombers.

Works out roughly the same.
Daniher pick would be 20 in all likelihood (Brad Crouch FA compo first)

Give me a spell, Saad is the only guy who is leaving, the others have hardly been on the park.
I doubt we finish bottom 2.

Yoda, rather than this constant to and fro, what do you think Saad is work in terms of a single outright pick

Doesn’t matter what I think. He could be worth 7. He could be worth 27. Whatever Adrian Dodoro can extract is what you have to be glad we can get for Adam Saad

While I think that North, Adelaide and possibly Hawthorn are in a bigger world of hurt than you guys next year, the only game that you won in your last nine games for the year was when Daniher turned up and absolutely shot the lights out against Hawthorn. It doesn't look great, admittedly.

So you have no opinion on what he is worth, yet you want to rebut what others are suggesting?
