Go and watch his game against Brisbane last week. He took Charlie Cameron to the cleaners.
Sure he's not perfect, but he gets all the tough matchups every week.

Cameron has been woefully out of form for a couple of months.

That said...
I guess you can be thankful he doesn't play for Essendon then. As a Carlton fan, I most definitely see his value. I watch Carlton closely every week - and in particular, Plowman - and see him as an important part of our backline. I'd strongly assume you've based you opinion on a large amount of 'vibe'.

The Plow should be thankful hes being discussed on an AFL board at all.

As for Saad, his type of player is always in demand. He holds a lot of value.

Cant see him coming to Richmond for many reasons

* We have Houli ,Short,Markov,Egg-Smith all as running HBF'ers with Houli still there 2 more years imo plaus a bunch of kids like Naish/English/Turner
so not really a desperate need and cant see Richmond giving up anymore than our 1st rounder which DoDo would not accept
Then there is the $$$$ Thinking he would be on $600k+

Just cant see it, He can still work with houli in the muslim academy and nga and doesnt have to play for the tigers to do this

We should steer well clear and develop Markov and the Egg on a quarter of his wages. Saad is a waste of cap space.

Also, just between you and I, if I was you i'd be more concerned about whats going on at your footy club than worrying about one player at ours.

As I said a side can pay up if they think its the missing link to a flag. Pies paid up for Jolly and without him there is no 2010 flag so it can happen. I think he wants to be in Vic so that limits the options.

his position for another.

if youre rebuilding club like adelaide you should focus on your core: spine and mids

saad is great, but running defenders are the cream not the cake

Yeah. He's lost more defensive one on one's than any other player in the AFL. I watched him get monsters by Jacob Townsend and Bayley Fritsch. Guy is trash.

these are 4-5 year deals too.
You can see why i'd be wanting a decent 1st rounder for him. If a suitor sees fit to pay him that much, pony up the trade collateral too please.

In all seriousness, be interesting to see if he does elect Carlton what we throw up. Maybe Williamson + a 1st rounder for Saad and your 2nd is more reasonable. Although, I love Williamson and don't want to see him go.

Fritsch has 9 touches and kicked 1 goal against Carlton.

If that equates to getting “monstered” I’d hate to hear the adjectives you throw around when a defenders opponent kicks multiple goals
