O’Brien is a midfielder.
Fine, four years after someone thinks he's Tambling version 2.0.
He’d maybe have the opportunity to extend that timeline playing with the midfield studs in the Essendon team.If taking Dow's contract off their hands is the price for pick 7, I'd reluctantly accept, but would prefer to take a guy in second-third round. Guy will be out of the system in two years.
Remember a time when people had Weitering outside the 1st round in redo drafts when he suffered thigh and shoulder issues.
While I preferred Cerra in that draft, still do, Dow has had 2 years of interrupted preseasons. First a hip issue and this year a knee.
If he remains injury free and is allowed to play to his strengths rather than trying to make him a finesse footballer, he will have a decent career
I’ve been looking for it but I can’t see it. I liked him predraft, thought he was a bit of a reach where he went but I’ve never seen a player regress from the predraft promise like him. Some how appears weaker than when he arrived.
Based on form, it would have to be Dow plus something, he is looking like a poor draft pickBarrett doesn't say who put them on the table, regardless if dow left I'd want Saad + something
Why would we need to salary dump Dow. He’d be on about 300kIf taking Dow's contract off their hands is the price for pick 7, I'd reluctantly accept, but would prefer to take a guy in second-third round. Guy will be out of the system in two years.

He accused saad of leaving for more money and not playing for the team. Hurt the dons negotiations. If you are making a play for dunkley then you can’t afford to mess around with a Ooc player in saad. Late first rounder is right. I’d take the sos/ journos talk with a grain of salt. I’m sure the deal will be done fairly quick.
Lels pick 7 . Ok my mans.Lol that is utter horse sh*t - he never said that. It will be pick 7 early in trade week and it will get done quickly because that is is worth in a compromised draft where the pick is likely to be around 11, 12 or 13.
I'd faster believe what i've heard SOS been saying this week and get prepared. He is the only Carlton person i've heard talk sense.

- Stephen Silvagni"Do you give a top 10 pick up for a half-back? I look at it and say probably not. I wouldn't think there are too many half-backs that have been traded to another club for a top 10 pick."
Reading his whole speech on it he also agrees that Essendon should be asking for it.Couldn't agree with you more...

“I wouldn’t think there’s too many half backs that have been traded to other clubs for a top 10 pick.
“Then I look at Essendon and I look at Saad and how important he is to Essendon. He’s finished top four in their best and fairest the last three years, so he’s a bona fide top four player at that football club.
“So you’re looking at a top five player at a footy club or you’re looking at a really early pick to get that deal done.
“You want a fair and equitable deal, but if I’m Essendon I’m going – ‘I’m losing a top four player’ – if I’m Carlton I’m going ‘he’s a half back flanker’.
“This is where the manager has to come into play a little bit.
“Ultimately right now it’s Carlton’s responsibility to get that deal done.”
Once again why would carlton give you pick 7 when we can just draft him at 7 in the nations draft. You’ll get nothing. Hence why uncontracted players don’t go for top 10 picks.Lol that is utter horse sh*t - he never said that. 100% you don’t get 7. If that’s the deal he goes for free.If you were to estimate the percentage likelihood of this occurring, what would you go with?
