I think a lot of people don't realise, this Simmo meeting is not unique, every premiership coach gets a meeting.
Amazing where this thread ended up. I am starting to worry about some West Coast supporters

Pretty unique in the sense that weve got one for the first time in 12 years.I think a lot of people don't realise, this Simmo meeting is not unique, every premiership coach gets a meeting.
Mate im sorry - we arent talking u18’sOf course you would, because you're stupid.
Just go look at the results since AFL began, Victoria absolute dominate the comp and they field 2 sides.
Mate im sorry - we arent talking u18’s
a coupla years ago i think a vic soo side would have just pipped ours with too much depth in the midfield - but not now - weve got a killer soo team atm - if you could play 44 players in an soo team yeah victoria would win every year - but you dont - its 22 and theres 22 talented wa players out there
Our ruck would be the obvs weakness with nn injured esp -
Tommy Barrass, alex rance, brad sheppard
Nathan wilson, jez Mcgovern, mitch duncan
Elliot yeo, Patrick Cripps, nat fyfe
Lance franklin, jack darling, dom sheed
Jamie Cripps, josh kennedy, jesse hogan
Ruck - p ryder, aaron sandilands
Int - mark hutchings, tom mitchell, jaeger omeara
Id back that team any day
Aah no doubtGood side you put up but the Vics could put a fair side up as well.
Aah no doubt
Pity we wont ever see it
Vics would also have bloody clarko too
Here are some facts for you.
Victoria
New South Wales
Western Australia
South Australia
Queensland
These are the states represented in the AFL. I said any bias towards Victorian teams will affect about 50 per cent of fans. Obfuscation about what's a 'footy state' is wholly irrelevant to the argument. It doesn't matter how rusted on a state is, there are footy fans from NSW and Queensland affected by any bias.
Got any changes you can think ofGood side you put up but the Vics could put a fair side up as well.
We are talking about over time, not the here and now.Mate im sorry - we arent talking u18’s

Pull your head in - when you merged all the victorian kids into one club - state of origin - we and the sa mob held our own
Go look at the "kids"
Victoria dominate and they field 2 sides.
Isn't that where most players come from nowadays?
kranky al and reality mix like oil and water.Id back a wa soo side against a vic one - weve got no shortage of talent
Mate im sorry - we arent talking u18’s

Of course they aren’t happy.I haven't caught up on the thread but I assume West Coast supporters are happy as they get to play Melbourne in Alice Springs which reduces the travel burden on the team.
I actually agree with walters - dont know what i was thinking there - have edited appropriatelyGreat line up, id have Coniglio and Walters in for Hutchings and Sheed
We had one player who had never played the g in the granny, a heap with one game or two, or three.Of course they aren’t happy.
They aren’t interested in the fact that the league attempts to reduce their travel burden.
Unless they are playing at Optus or the G it is a disgrace.
Nooice lineup. It's all hypotheticals obviously but it would be a cracking contest.

Who cares? We had one player who had never played the g in the granny, a heap with one game or two, or three.
How many collingwood players had that little experience on the grand final venue?
We earned that gf - you get experience on the mcg most weeksWho cares?
The majority of the Collingwood team hadn’t even played a final before this year and only a couple of veterans had GF experience back from the 10-11 period.
Random games in June are no preparation for a GF.
WC had the edge as half the team played in a recent GF.
Well we had state of origin for how many years? You didnt dominate then.We are talking about over time, not the here and now.
If Victoria fielded just 2 sides, EVERY YEAR, they would dominate, just like the u18's do.
Where do you think clubs draft players from?
??We earned that gf - you get experience on the mcg most weeks
And it showed when you burst out of the blocks with six straight goals.
No way you do that at optus
Against freo???
We burst out of the blocks in our first ever game at Optus...kicked 3 goals in 5 minutes.
You fail to grasp that GF experience is more important than some random game at the G in June.
WC benefited from half the team losing the GF in 2015, they had the GF experience.
Yet you only named three interchange players!!Well we had state of origin for how many years? You didnt dominate then.
As i said theres only 22 players in a side.
