Looks like another no call on Simmo and he'll roll this shit-show on and on and on, regardless of results, at least the end of the year.
I mean what are Duggo and Oscar going to say? "Yeah a fresh perspective might do us boys some good." Harley Reid to add on "I ****ing hate Simmo!"
Are people actually advocating for Allen and/or Duggan to come out and publically criticise Simmo?
What planet are you silly bastards from?

That scene in land of the dead, where the zombies crash the main accommodation and start eating everyone, except it's the players & coaches eating each other alive.Out of interest, what would have been an answer to satisfy the mob?
No more keep on trucking, just **** off!

It was a dogshit game that 99% of people agree was the coach killer. You can't rectify a performance that bad in a presser, so what good is it getting mad about them saying they're going to own the result and do better - what the **** else can they say?
Keeping in mind, of course, if they say the exact perfect response it won't make a difference because it's the on field response that is all that matters from here. Pissed off for the sake of being pissed off areas when we bring the microscope out over press conferences.

Love the reply, thanks for making me smile and chuckle amongst this mess mateWhen they say they are “going” to own it, it means to me they haven’t owned it yet and hope to own it some time in the future. They know they should own it, but somehow can’t and look forward to doing that.
Lucky Duggan was one of the best who tried his guts out.
Simpson already flagged that many changes unlikely as he wasn’t even thinking about this game but rather the performance in the Essendon game when asked about changes.
He could have said that they will make changes this week. And changes aren’t bringing gaff in for maric.

If the players really want to own it, how about a public apology to the members for the crap they dished up on
Sunday.
Owning it is a over used buzzword. When you really own something it means you have paid for it. A good place to start for the team would be to give back their match payments.
The Club should give the members a credit to be used against next years membership.
Am expecting the good version of Melbourne to rock up, home deck, and pay back for their Optus loss?We don't know what Melbourne would turn up but for Simmo it better not be a good one.
Probably not a football game.Surprisingly the coach said post game 'It's not a catastrophe'.
If that game wasn't a catastrophe, what is?
Everyone from the head coach to the midfield coach to the captain has said 'we have to own that', which is kind of obvious, as opposed to what, disown it - 'Oh that wasn't us, it was somebody else?'
Anyway, they'll probably all turn up really switched on with 'serious intent' expressions on their faces, and probably put on a good game - but hope the coach shows up with some new intent in the gameday tactics and changes
