Changes were:

• Re-did the wing feathers shapes slightly
• Straightened the line at the endpoint (head end) of the wing feathers
• Changed the head and the beak to be more like the 1990 logo
• Changed the colours to the official state guernsey
• Put the feather colours in the same order as the guernsey
• Added the text

Lol, I thought about that too. I think it’d look cool. Unfortunately my computer artistic skills are not quite there. I’d love it if someone who can would give it a go.

I don't think it gets much better than the bottom one.

Simple, aggressive, colours in the right order, silhouette only, brilliant.

All good mate, I really like what you did with it. The state guernsey colours are different to the club's colours, but from a design perspective I actually prefer the SA colours, personally. I'd also enjoy the outcry from cross-town rivals if the change was made!

I guessed that. As you seem to have no understanding of how difficult what you are asking for is.

You cannot create a good scalable logo that also is a photo realistic version of an animal / bird.

And yes, most good logos are generally a mixture of basic shapes.

I'm not a logo designer mate, you seem to think that we have a magic wand or something that just plucks these concepts from the ether at will!!

If you all you've got is "Do the Collingwood logo but with a flying crow" - I'm probably not interested in diving too deep.

Excel can insert shapes other than squares and can even colour them.
