If they think Welsh is sliding out past say pick 40, then your idea might be on their mind - split 25 for 2 later 2nds and use one of them for ANB. Keep the other to get the best ruck in the draft still available?ANB looks a typical pick 35-40 trade for mine.
Maybe we look at splitting pick 25 for two picks in the 30's and give Melbourne one of them.
What did Luko have to do with ANB and our trade for him?I think he'll go for a F2 now Luko is off the table
Rumoured that our F2 was part of the trade to get Luko but it all fell over when Port offered 7 years and we sensibly pulled outWhat did Luko have to do with ANB and our trade for him?
good now piss murphy off forever, there is absolutely no excuse for him to be playing afl.Had a listen to the Howie Games podcast ep this morning with Petracca, Weightman and our very own Rankine (it was an ep about their prominent outside interests, very interesting listen). Anyway, when Howie asked them what trait they would like from another player, Petracca did not hesistate saying that he would like to have Neal-Bullen's workrate, absolutely loves him as a teammate (this was recorded before the trade request).
I would think he was worried about his position as soon as ANB nominated the Crows. Nicks even stopped playing Murphy and Ned together this year when it was obvious you can’t have two of this type in the same team.good now piss murphy off forever, there is absolutely no excuse for him to be playing afl.
Was it all three of them together?Had a listen to the Howie Games podcast ep this morning with Petracca, Weightman and our very own Rankine (it was an ep about their prominent outside interests, very interesting listen). I mean it's great to hear for sure.Had a listen to the Howie Games podcast ep this morning with Petracca, Weightman and our very own Rankine (it was an ep about their prominent outside interests, very interesting listen). Yes I know, just the same style of player. The “type” is lack of talent but works hard. ANB is not that. Yes he brings pressure and runs hard, but he’s also clean, a good decision maker, and while he’s skills are nothing special, he generally executes well. All things that cannot be said of Murphy and McHenry.
Just one that kicks goals vs one that doesntYes I know, just the same style of player.
We'd hate the draft full stop hahaMaybe we don't rate that range because our strike rate is awful
F2 could be better than 25.25 would be overs, 25 with something coming back would be slight overs, F2 would be fair (given ANB should improve our performance next year)
Would that be a fair assessment?
28 now.F2 could be better than 25.
I love Keays, but now would be the time to cash in on his value... (contracted til '27, but still)So does ANB go straight into the pressure half forward role?
I mean Keays covered that position in 2024 ... but does ANB give us another version of that type of utility?
Well clearly replaces Murphy. So does ANB go straight into the pressure half forward role?
I mean Keays covered that position in 2024 ... but does ANB give us another version of that type of utility?
I think both is betterSo does ANB go straight into the pressure half forward role?

I don't like to even consider the M-word is in the conversation for 2025 best 22.Well clearly replaces Murphy.
Means all our small forwards can rotate through the middle as needed.
