We parked the bus, defended stoutly and made the most of it.

They outplayed us for most of the 2nd half and Izzo made a couple of enormous saves. Probably played better last week and just managed a draw TBH

a big win. absolutely massive. thought our back 4 was absolutely outstanding tonight (yeah even that jakobsen bloke). thought the midfield was quite poor and the back 4 kept having to bail them out, but that could be due to the turnaround.

but, we won. opening goal was pretty freaky but halloran and goodwin had 2 more really good chances.

Thought we lost a bit of attacking threat when he went off actually. He didnt do a whole heap but what he did was class.

Brattan yes, Arzani no. Arzani they actually see a future with.

Man City sign these guys and loan them back to Melbourne whilst still paying a portion of their wages.

Ideally I want Bobo but that probably won't happen. Juric would be next in-line in terms of preference personally.

I'm just unsure how much Bruce would actually improve the team overall. He has never been a prolific goal-scorer and that's the type of striker we need.

Ruon burnt some bridges here, wouldn't think he'd be on the list.

A pretty handy defender but with squad spots at a premium we have far more pressing issues.
