Top level beep test, prides himself on his endurance, working on his first 5 steps for more explosive speed, although small doesn't have any fears about getting in their amongst the taller players, not that confident about the draft, but knows that his last three games of the champs will have put him in the picture.
Trade radio talked him up a bit.

Cheers, hope to see him on our list. The later the better if course.

He's their captain too.

How's that for club culture when your captain wants out. Has that ever happened before?

This is how Damian Barrett thinks Griffen will end up at the Giants:

Joel Patfull from Brisbane to GWS for pick 21

Kristian Jaksch and Mark Whiley & pick 19 to Carlton in exchange for pick 7

Ryan Griffen to GWS in exchange for pick 4 & 7

Barrett needs to remember it's not 2007 anymore.

Griffen is not worth 2 first rounders (especially 4 & 7)

I think it's Bulldogs who might move picks. Ala RG & 6 for Jeremy Cameron.

Also not sure where he is getting Patful for pick 21 from?

Gee the Bullies are in a world of hurt, might even wipe the smile off that sniper Johnsons face.

Common sense has prevailed...

The AFL has told Port Adelaide and Essendon that it will not permit Paddy Ryder to be released as a free agent.
Port Adelaide and Essendon had investigated and discussed a radical plan - similar to the Nick Dal Santo deal of last year - to get Ryder to the Power and provide better compensation for the Bombers.
The plan involved Ryder having his contract voided by mutual consent of club and player, making him a free agent. He would then have gone to Port as a free agent, with the Bombers receiving a free agent compensation draft pick - from the central pool, not Port - in return.

There might not have been many actual trades, but there are a lot of bombshells dropping this trade period. So many unhappy players, or are players just seeking more money?

It woildcw been good to get both patfull and Griffen but obviously we don't appeal to them and they don't want to join port
