A few times, say 3 of the last 6 sanfl matches, Himmelberg has for the first times that I've seen, started to look like a level above SANFL.

I dont reckon I saw this in any previous season. Previously he's looked like he's trying his arse off and barely could impact the game, barely get a grab, not many possies. Just in the last few weeks, he's started to look like SANFL is too easy. He can still take grabs even with a defender right on him doing their best. He's getting possessions and doing damage with them, especially, kicking goals, he's a very skillful kick.

Previously when he's looked average in SANFL he's gone up and done ok sometimes in the AFL.
I'd love to get another look at him in AFL now but with us seemingly locking in giving Tilthorpe games I dunno if we will. Maybe if we rest Tex.

Newchurch with another trademark run and spots up Mcasey lace out. We don't need any of that nonsense at AFL level. Come see us when you have 50 AFL games under your belt and know how to hack kick.

At the game today. Very happy for my red legs but crows were woeful. Hately was best but not at all impacting. No hurt factor at all.

Sholl was solid . Like the look of Taylor. Rowe showed once again that he’s a solid sanfl player. Not afl standard.

Not much else to talk about.

Who played well? Give us some hope. I would bring Taylor in from what I've seen over the year regardless of how he played.
Hately was BOG for you guys but still thought he was pretty ordinary. Rowe made the most of limited chances unlike Gollant who probably should have had 3 or 4 goals. Frampton gets a bit of stick on here but did ok. Davis was pretty serviceable I thought and Sholl was good early. I doubt there are too many that would be putting their hands up for a promotion though. Was Newchurch injured as I seen him on the bench a fair bit today but there is something about him that I like
