The ch 7 only broadcast is almost a deal breaker, if Cats weren't playing I wouldn't watch it.

Can't stand shitty ads, half of them will be betting related.
Its stupid it’s not available to mobile devices like a PC, Mac or iPad.

Think we've beaten the Cats the last 3 times we've played them so don't think people should be writing us off too quickly.
It’s the last 2 actually. Both in Sydney, and the latest one where the cats very graciously allowed buddy the glory of a win for the 1000 goals!

Just after the 4 points?
Yep, I think we really just need to forget about percentage next week. Maybe start worrying about it if we have a 6-goal lead with 10 minutes left.

I'm curious to think what Robbie Williams thinks of this match-up.

Does he think that a Vic vs Interstate GF is good for the game, or is he more of a traditionalist that would have preferred Cats vs Pies?

Imagine if Reid doesn't get-up. All week, debates regarding whether it should be Amartey vs McLean.

McLean gets picked, but Amartey is an emergency, so rumours continue to swirl.

Come Saturday, neither one are seen in the sheds...

glass breaks

"BAH GAWD, BAH GAWD, THAT'S KURT TIPPETT"

what a nightmare

You can tell these teams have never met in a Grand Final, the banter is so damn polite! If this thread was Cats vs Hawks....
I respect the Cats.

Well, until 2:30pm next Saturday. Then they will mysteriously turn into an unlikable bunch of dirty thug flogs that are protected by the umpires and are probably also rorting the salary cap.

One thing's for sure- he will be bitterly disappointed with the quality of our coke

Can't tell much from the prelims. Geelong had a soft touch game like the 2020 PF against the same side. Both struggled against the Pies, Geelong because they struggled with the pressure but Sydney because they ran out of legs from a dominant position as I felt they played the wrong game against them. Sydney, in many ways, handled the real applied pressure quite a bit better from Collingwood of the 2 sides. Geelong were never the better side but their defence was well structured and saved them. In their only meeting Sydney pumped them but that was early in the year. If Geelong win it will be their 16th straight win, if Sydney win it will be their 10th straight win. History over alot of the last 15 years the side that has had the most difficult PF has gone on to win. Hawthorn played 4 cliffhanger PF between 2012-15 but we know what happened 3 times on the big day. Same in 2007 with Geelong.

Geelong have had great trouble with applied finals pressure in big finals over the years, let's face it, they have been awful, and did again against the Pies, where they looked like a deer in headlights. Individuals got them home. No-one applies that pressure like Sydney, hence I am going for the Swans in that 7 to 20pts range we voted on.

Swans are 7-0 against the top 5 this year.
