The game has gone as the bookies suspected. I predicted it to be closer than people were saying...that was clearly wrong.

Geelong has been suberb all year and are the deserved winners. Unfortunately it happened in a way that is not the most entertaining for neutrals.

Looking forward, I think the Swans start 2023 as favourites. They are much younger than the Cats, they have a lot of talent in the upward trajectory part of their careers. Put me in a coma until grand final day next year and I would be less surprised to see Sydney back there than I would to see Geelong.
