Geelong always look good early in the season.

They start to show cracks by about round 10. By round 20 they're struggling

We haven't looked good Round 1 of the past few seasons - it's our style that looks far better, and it's paying dividends on the scoreboard right now

Often you gotta go backwards to go forward. Bombers are a young team and it wouldn’t have been out of the ordinary to really struggle against some teams. That said, only the first quarter and they could easily close the gap over the next two quarters

Never have I left a game during the first qrt disgusting football team I don’t paye my good harned earned to watch sh*t
You seriously left a game of football at quarter time? That's peak disillusioned supporter.

The earliest I've left is round 22, 2003 I think where North were over 100 points up. Quarter time is remarkable

I suppose the challenge here is for Geelong to put the Bombers to the sword and not fade.

Horror start for Bombers obviously, they have some great midfielders but they are all on the smaller side. I just see them getting pushed around by other teams.

Started slowly last year. Just chugged along for most of the year tbh.

No chance

Been garbage for 20 years and looks like nothing has changed

From memory, they don’t usually look so good in Round 1 as they sometimes even lose. They normally start to look good after Round 5 IMO and then falter in the finals. Let’s see if they keep this up today though
