He got a handball away.

Nothing will change until we define what a completed tackle is - rugby codes have the elbow spot, gridiron has knee. Those also have momentum stop.

Afl has no definition of what a completed tackle is
That's why last night's 360 htb was a shocker because you only need a piece of the jumper and it will be htb because the player ran a circle.

You know you are really shit when you make Shaun Higgins look like Leigh Matthews.

I understand that, but Brad Scott specifically outlined those ones as being HTB. He had ages to get rid of it while being tackled by two players, should have been paid.

Agree with the rest of your post though.

Geelong have been OK - Essendon have been putrid.
Putrid is actually kind for what Essendon has been today. I get they have massive injury concerns… but the hospital handballs to players in worse and worse positions was horrific… not to mention when they straight up hand it to a cat. Looks like men verses boys. They look fumbly and timid.

At least you've got another off season to look forward to. Winning trade week is the real prize

Geelong playing well. Losing Langford and Laverde didn't help Dangerfield is killing us..
still it's only Round 1, there's a long way to go yet in 2022the scandal was a decade ago if you're still obsessing over it, you're the problem not us :thumbsu:
We use to say that as well regarding its only Rd 1.......

Geelong walking it out of centre clearance. Shameful by the bombers. One way midfield. Terrible whole team defensive intent and structure. Missing the 8.

Are Essendon missing anyone? Besides Ridley, is there anyone decent playing key position.

Midfield bats deep but looks like it lacks size too.

Stringer, Tippa and Snelling. Pretty important players made a lot worse when Langford and Laverde went off. Still Cameron is off for Cats and Duncan, Rohan, Menegola, Ceglar and O'Connor were missing for Cats.
