Biggest ever comeback in a grand final at 3/4 is 24 points in 1984. They’d want to be a bit closer I’d reckon.
Maybe, but it's all mental. They'll both be knackered at that stage with the heat, in this scenario.
The crowd starts "Coooollingwoood, Coooollingwoood", get a quick goal or two, and tired Lions could try and save it, which won't end well if 20 points up with 15 minutes to go...

He'll be back once the trade period starts, it's the time of the year they are their most bullish.
Oh I dunno...

He put a lot of capital into his hilarious and inventive "wobble wobble" schtick and also made an avatar bet that he won't be able to pay

He'll bob up as a draftee with a new profile, like that Falcon guy 👍

A Grand Final from the absolute top shelf. Feel for the Lions fans considering they were super all day and still fell short but at the same time time I'm glad we were able to get one back on them after the heartache of two decades ago. Just rapt to have witnessed another premiership - all of a sudden 3 in 33yrs doesn't seem so bad. Go Pies ⚫⚪

So weird to witness such a close GF yet such average football. Both teams played pretty bad. Collingwood had 5 good players at most. Hill, Mitchell, crisp, pendles, Howe. Everyone else bog average or terrible. Not going to go in the Classic GFs file
Surely this is a troll post

Andrews his direct opponent had a rating of 16.5 which was 5th highest on the ground.

It’s Champion Data so you need to take it for what it is.
Your last line sums it up. I’m sick of people quoting champion data like it’s some sort of bible. Their list of misses this year is bigger than the shots missed by the pies yesterday

Is there anywhere we can find down the ground vision of the grand final, would love to see the 666 infringement before the degoey goal seemed like a tactic.
The game doesn't restart until all players are in the 6,6,6 position. The umpire holds up play then warns the offending team. Degoey would eventually be in the correct restarting position.

Loved the game. No issue with the umpiring and I thought the magpie army was surprisingly gracious. No issues with the MCG advantage in grandfinals for Tennents etc.

One thing I was confused about was the ground MCs - they spent the whole time saying stuff like ‘come on magpie army, let us hear you’ and revving up the Pies to ‘get loud’ before the ball was bounced each 1/4.

They played country road but that was part of a DJ thing.

Isn’t GF day supposed to be a neutral setting, no home team? If so - why was it hosted like a Collingwood home game?

That shouldn’t happen on grand final day.

Collingwood, Hawthorn, Melbourne and Richmond.
All these teams get a home ground advantage playing at the MCG.

Interesting that the Lions fans seem to have been the absolute best and most gracious about the umpiring effort which the whole rest of Australia are sulking about.

Kudos to Lions fans.

Typical big loser energy from (most of) the rest of Australia who not only barrack harder AGAINST Collingwood than FOR their own team, but who also can't see past that hatred, all while calling pies fans biased 🤣✌️

I would say Andrews was quiet early more because Coleman was getting so much of it and not because of Frampton.

Coleman got quiet and Andrews started getting into the game.

Frampton should consider himself lucky because if they lost, people would be saying he was a major factor by dropping a few easy marks in front of goal.

If that’s the case Daniher was robbed of the Norm Smith. Kicked 3 and nullified Moore.

Must say that I had not been a fan of Brisbane, a lot to do with Zorko and having to listen to Country f....g Road in GABBA games, but the graciousness of the Brisbane fans , coaches and players has won me over. One Lions fan came to my work today to congratulate, although I did explain I didn't do anything really, just watched.

This is in stark contrast to fans of clubs like Carlton Melbourne and West Coast whose utter jealousy has brought out the worst in them.

Losing GF's is our speciality and it hurts even as a fan. But you now have a chance to redeem yourselves next year and it wouldn't surprise me if you did. AS for the crowd thing, it never worried Brisbane in 02 and 03.

The PIES always play well interstate in hostile environments. Barring the GABBA , although that is probably due to having to put up with Country f....g Road. So I can imagine the Lions will use the hostility to their advantage next time. As a smart man once said , learn to control what you can control and forget the rest

I'm not sure if Chris Fagan will ever coach the Lions to a flag tbh. How many more chances do you need?

If i was a Lions fan i'd be asking some pretty hard questions right now.
Could the downvoters of this post please articulate their opinions a little better please.

Is the construction of a sentence or two a bit too much trouble for you?:grinv1:

Andrews will be having nightmares all summer about Frampton

Bet he wishes he could play on Curnow every week

To be fair, i've seen mannequins with more impact in finals than what Charlie has shown.
Curnow is just too weak and soft to be a finals player, he will always just be a flat track bully that dominates against bottom four teams, but shits the bed when it matters.
Top teams in finals will be licking their lips when their rebounding defender lines up on limp Charlie.
