one player in the game I’d agreed to thatCalling on all football fans to boo Weightman for the rest of his career.
Kudos Jon Ralph for calling out the cheating of Weightman.
Some of the most biased umpiring I've seen, the AFL must do something about it, it's a disgrace
^statement from the afl umpires departmentRegardless of tonight's result we've had an incredibly tough draw so far and can now look forward to a good run at home.
How often in games do you hear the umpire say, “back two metres!” The player on the mark immediately complies and play goes on. The umpire last night has now raised the bar to a situation where the defending player stands on where they think the mark is and if they guess incorrectly, with no input from the umpire, then that is an immediate 50 metre penalty. Sorry, but no. Apart from some classic “non decisions” where the Suns weren’t rewarded for tackles that should have drawn frees, the 50 metre penalty and free kick to Weightman were terrible. The umpires concerned should be dropped.Umpire didn't even give the Suns player time to move back, just called the 50m instantly, one of the worst calls I've ever seen! With <10 points in it and not long to go.
Dogs are a powerful club that commands umpiring bias
It happens every game we play.. other teams hate us because we are disciplined, we never give silly free kicks away.. Bevo has drilled it into us. Tin foil hat conspiracy theorists in this thread are not the general footy public
Yes the bribe money didn't pay offRobbed by the umps tonight.

I thought the non decision to King in the goal square was also telling - especially given the Dogs we’re getting frees for falling over. How often in games do you hear the umpire say, “back two metres!” The player on the mark immediately complies and play goes on. Ginnie does not dive anymore, still can’t buy a free, youcould decapitate him and nothing!Weightman a seriel diver how the umpires not caught on yet?
They have with Ginnivan...
Hopefully the same will follow for diveman...Ginnie does not dive anymore, still can’t buy a free, youcould decapitate him and nothing!
Yeah that call was an absolute shocker, along with a number of other decisions. We got kissed on the D with a few and still couldn't get over the line.Umpire didn't even give the Suns player time to move back, just called the 50m instantly, one of the worst calls I've ever seen! Gotta give the boy credit, he sure has perfected the skill of being a germ
no 94 prelim north cats worst ever officiating of a pro sports eventI just can’t stand that this will go unspoken about in the media all week, we will pretend like this never happened by tomorrows arvo game
The worst officiating of a sporting context I’ve seen in any code of sport globally
Either way up the suns
Yes and hopefully it stops for the kid not cheating!Hopefully the same will follow for diveman...
