After the Pies demolition job on Freo at the MCG tomorrow there will be calls for West Coast & Freo to merge so they can form a team that is at least AFL competitive. Fremantle Eagles or West Coast Dockers? Both sound ordinary.

Looking forward to the battle of the rejects JOM vs Mitchell
Mitchell unlikely to play. He's emergency, so a 5% chance. Unless he is the sub, not sure on that one. Might have to wait until next season.

I feel it’ll be a frustrating game, Freo will take it right up to the Pies in spurts, and Pies to put in a solid 30-40 min block that builds them a decent enough lead and continue cruising.

Yeah thats the way we role mostly. Be nice if we played 4 quarters and put them away early so I can kick back and enjoy. Our nanna naps in games has spoiled my viewing pleasure a bit this year. It also worries me the way we take the foot off and leak goals in periods of games and let the oppo back into it. Not a great finals trait.
I''l go out on what should be a safe limb and predict a 6 goal win that should have been a 12 goal win but for a costly nanna nap.

I’d expect Freo to challenge them. Didn’t Melbourne lose to them a few weeks ago? And Melbourne are a much better team than Collingwood
