Don’t like the Dogs generally but geez I’d love Bont to get a premiership while captain to his resume. Easily my favourite player in the comp to watch. No weakness. Just brilliant.

It’d be much easier to swallow another Dogs flag if they didn’t have Bevo but Bont mostly single handedly keeps that man in a job!

Enjoyed watching Lobb & West today too. Much maligned, but West in particular has worked so damn hard and changed his game to get a spot so nice to see his stats sheet rewarded rather than just doing the team things.

made a mockery? Yet every team would do the same. People are criticising North for not losing the game and getting Harley Reid. Seems like people are picking and choosing when to tank and when not to.


There is a massive difference between tanking and getting priority picks and getting gifted when you're a top 6 team. Brisbane and Dogs are the 2 most gifted club that have massive asterisk on their results going forward. Collingwood a close 3rd.

You don't get a priority pick for free. You literally have to be bad all year to get it. Dogs got gifted several players. You know it's true Mofra. At least you're not denying it.

But anything other than multiple flags for the dogs is the expectation with the amount of access to elite picks. It's definitely papered over the cracks of the recruiting team.

I believe that the rule should be scrapped all together. But if it is to continue, teams should limited to 1 every 5-10 years or something. Not what it is at the moment. And the idea of getting a discount is a bloody disgrace. A discount for getting access to a player you shouldn't have access to? What a joke. Teams should be paying overs for the privilege. The whole rule has stuffed the comp.

Do Collingwood win the flag without it? No. Do Brisbane make the granny without it? No. Do the dogs made the top 8 without the NGA/Father-son? No. I believe in competition integrity.
