I find that a bit hard to believe

I’m disappointed, any team’s fans are when they lose, but I’m not going to tear my hair out over it. We were never expected to get this far, we gave it a great crack, and were beaten by a better side, and dozens of neutrals seem to be celebrating like their own teams have just won a flag

ha ha simpsons GIF
Semi finals loss > prelim loss??? Jeez, the hawks have fallen haven’t they?

Dads army clearly not up to it ……… Lions way to good, I think Father Time has finally caught up to this group. At the game they looked out on their feet compared to a hungry Lions outfit.

Dads army that has less Finals experience and a younger side lol

Our list is most likely going to be even younger at this rate lol

Once Gunston and Breust pull the pin I can see our average age just dropping through the floor.

Probably similar to what will happen to your mob if a few decide to call time.

Have a feeling some of them will get the tap on the shoulder.

This was a very fine line game. Lions talent stood out but Geelong were amazing in their own right, make no mistake.

I'm always confused at people who make grandiose statements after a match where the line, the difference, is measured by centimetres and milliseconds, which manifests in unique displays of talent executed at just the right moment.

This.

Of course people will accuse me of bias because I go for one or the teams in the game itself but there were two teams playing, one won, one lost. The one that lost, led with 2.30 to go:

They can’t have been shit.

I'm sure that was the best he could come up with.

Where did Geelong hurt you?
Freo have been desperate to build a rivalry with us for ages, it’s just that they’ve got even less cups than St Kilda so it renders them powerless and irrelevant in any footy discussion. I think that win they had over us at Kardinia Park in the 2013 finals is the pinnacle moment of their club history.

Me personally, I don't hate Geelong. I did put money on cats for the flag. But I can tolerate 2 non Vic sides in a grand final

That’s because you’re actually a sick lad that doesn’t get his panties in a wad over a football team.

Will be good to see two non Vic teams go at it, something different.
Gotta look at the positives

Would you rather a Queensland team, or Port Adelaide to make it? There's a bit of that to how most Vics saw the final 4 in it. No neighbours, thanks.

Plus the NRL must be spewing right now.

Swans had 45k last night. Next door Cronulla had 19k for their game.

NRL is a TV game. Crowds just dont care.

You seem to be taking this the hardest. Settle petal. You weren't meant to make top 4 anyway right?

This is true, i imagine Cats fans are annoyed after being humble post game then a bunch of ****ing *******s who pretend to be neutral come here and act like complete tossers, some people who might need to go and touch grass.

Was a great game and the better team won. That should be the story.
