They played the most 'unsociable' brand of footy during their 3 flags + gave away a ton of professional frees yet whinge about the differential being in the negative.

They were coached to give away frees to slow up play FFS.

I watched WCE play Richmond a couple of years ago, where Richmond got 8 goals from free kicks directly in front of goal, yet there were a couple of instances of our players being completely mauled in F50 and let go.

It's not some 'conspiracy'.

Your one is example is meaningless alone to the overall long term data, which you can easily find.

Long term data shows two seasons where Richmond were the most awarded team in the league within the last decade.
It shows that since you changed the style of footy you play the output of free kicks you get and give away has changed accordingly. It’s pretty simple
