If you actually want to get into the weeds of how North ended up how we are, you can trace it back to 2 things, primarily:

1. North's refusal to rebuild of the back of our 2014/2015 flag tilt
2. Our drafting strategy from 2010-2016

Lions look like they’re playing a vfl seconds team who are making all our substandard players look like millionaires. But, you can only play against who you get, and North look horrible. Sure you have 2 good young midfielders and Larkey, but gee Clarkson might need another it’s too hard holiday.
