It wasn't too long ago the Richmond board was going wild after their close loss to Brisbane in the finals that Hopper and Taranto would make them the best midfield in the comp and be in contention
Nobody said we'd have the best midfield in the comp with them. Find me one post claiming that.

We were aiming to be stronger in an area of weakness with them. Problem was too many others dropped off.

Shai Bolton cannot be ****ed playing in a bad side

Who can blame them!
It's funny, your mob have been building and cooking and coming for... ages. You have Norm Smith's in your forward line.

Yet...

You are 4 positions lower than ESSENDON on the ladder.

It's like watching some young bloke take his time to build up the confidence to ask the girl of his dreams out only to discover his equally ugly cousin has come along and started sweet talking her behind his back.

It must be really difficult as a player to get motivated for matches for some of these Richmond players.

They have gone from the best team in the league winning almost every week, playing in front of massive crowds, winning finals and flags.

To being completely uncompetitive. The fall from grace has been pretty astonishing.

Agree with the first two paragraphs.

Although I don't think it's really astonishing. You lose your good players, and then you suck. It's pretty much the opposite of astonishing really.
