There is an older woman port supporter who rings AA every Saturday morning complaining about how crows supporters tease and don’t respect PAFC and their supporters

Thing with Kenny is he is a great motivator. He gets the most out of his team during home and away games because he gets his team up and playing above their ability.

Come finals, every team is ‘up’ so the motivating factor is less impactful. This is when Hinkley gets shown up for his tactical shortfalls.

Where do they go from here? I don’t think they can ever win a flag under Hinkley, but another coach probably doesn’t get them top 4 year after year. It’s a tough one.

Internally, I think they may have known they were cooked this week. Key mids sore, missing playmakers from their defence etc. Many exc sorry, reasons. Was a brave fighting effort. Dad will let them have their well earned holiday and keep the fun happening when preseason starts

That was the biggest lesson of the night. Port kicked everything up in the air, while Sydney did low, penetrating kicks to the leader or to the guy out the back.

Ability no, intensity and vigour yes.

They also play a Russian Roulette style that doesn't work too well in finals. Midfielders that run one way, tall forwards who offer F all outside of Mitch
