Brain is going fever pitch right now. Can't concentrate at work. I felt this way in 2009 when I knew we were a genuine shot at it.

I don't believe in fairytales. How could this fairytale actually be real? Selwood being sent off into the sun with a flag? Dangerfield finally getting one? Chris Scott finally getting to thumb is nose at the doubters? How is that even possible to happen? My gut feel is all over the place. Keep going back and forth between "We've got this, it's time" and "There's no way this is going to happen"

Christ the anxiety is peak. I can't even begin to think what the players must be feeling.

The Big Day has finally arrived
It reminds me of 2011

I managed to score restricted view, standing room tickets for the 2011 GF.
I noted there was an empty seat near the fence, the entire first quarter.
At the break I went over and asked an elderly Cat fan if anyone was siting next to him.
"No", he says. "The seat is empty"

"That's incredible", I said. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this
for the AFL Grand Final and not use it?"

"Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away.
This is the first Grand Final we haven't been to together since we got married in 1967."

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. Couldn't you find someone else?
"A friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the seat?"

He shook his head. "No. They're all at the funeral."

I'm off the the game soon ... no way my seat remains empty
Go Cats

I'll use a boxing analogy.
In the QF the Pies gave us a few jabs and woke us up.
In the Prelim against the Lions we pounded them unmercifully and they threw in the towel early.
Today a Tyson-like knockout punch is coming.
Not a question of if, but when.
No one can live with our best this year.
No one.
I woke up very calm this morning.
Because we got this.
GO THE CLUB! GO US!

dazbroncos described a very elaborate viewing environment with multiple electronic devices, all in constant use.

I have to make sure I have a fully charged Android device to stream it to the big TV.

Just breathe mate.

Healthy dose of butterflies, had a few mates who have talked up Sydney into the greatest side since the bombers of 2000.

I have faith in our boys, this is our time, we’ve done absolutely everything we can to be cherry ripe at the right time of year and this game is ours for the taking.

Do the things we’ve been doing this last fifteen weeks and we’ll be holding up the premiership cup at the end of today!

GOOOOO CATTERS!!!!!
