Them playing Silvagni has to be a bonus for us, the kid isn't ready for senior footy, so that's 21 players they are down to already.

No excuses today, we should win this game, Murphy is a huge out for them, he always kills us when the beat us (which hasn't been too often lately) so without him we should be able to at least break even in the middle.

Their forward line is where we win this game. Last time we went in without Brown or Frost, and Levi took 12 marks or something like that, that and a lapse after half time cost us the match.

Keep the intensity up for four quarters and we win, simple.

Extremely important game tonight . Win and we are a game off ninth and mobe up three spots on the ladder, lose and we are only a game clear of bottom four.

Perception is every thing and while finals seem impossible we have the opportunity to at least finish better off than we did last year and stop the rot in terms of declining ladder positions every year. Our back halves of the year have been terrible in recent seasons and they have to run this year out. Maybe it started last week. In fact maybe it started about five weeks ago expcet for one bad game.

We could win one of those games. We beat Geelong and could have beaten The Dogs but were unlucky with injury. We might not make finals but we can finish as high as ninth. Lose to Carlton and the risk is the wheels fall off. We HAVE to win tonight.

We finished 12th last year. Anything higher that will be some sort of consolation after the bad first half of this year. Tonight we can move into 11th!
