There is a couple of the media team guys on here but there involvement is more to get feeback on the website, facebook, twitter, live game chats etc. rather than actually communicating with the club.

I believe Richmond has an official club username that communicates with them on their board, might be worth a look there.
If there was a club rep on the site, I'd tone down my comments for fear they'd get back to the players or club. It's not a bad idea having a club rep to answer questions and disseminate information.

I wouldn't be surprised if some players already do read BF.

Given the week just gone with shaw forced to play on a tall how do you think you'll line up to counter the likely eagles forward line of JK, Lynch, Darling, Cox/nic nat. Surely Tarrant has to go back?

If Goldsack comes back in then Taz may play back.

thats what most of us supporters were screaming for half way during the first qtr, didnt happen until after half time:mad:

Tarran, Reid and Brown will all play back. Brown and Tarrant will take JK and Darling. Reid will get resting ruckman or Lynch. Doubt they will play everyone forward at once though, if they day then Maxwell probably takes whoever we deem to be the worst marking player (if Maxwell's not playing then Shaw or O'Brien)

Just heard Fasolo talking from the airport on SEN. Apparantley Johnson is there but no Krak. Anyone else got word on Pendles, Jolly etc?

Fasolo is travelling ahead of the team to spend time with family. The main group will not leave until Friday.

Was just wondering about this actually.

Pendles tweeted that he's 100% right to go so unless he's Buddyised I'd expect to see him rip up Patterson.

Jolly I'm not so sure on.......I hope he plays as god knows we need the beast against NN/Cox. Our guys will have to be sharking the ruck contest something fierce this weekend and thank god Swan is back....Isnt he!

Strong case for and against naming Krakouer.

For:
- In Perth, where he dominated the WAFL
- Family is there, which could see him lift in a major way.
- Looked sharp on the weekend.
- Best crumber in the business.

Against:
- Big ground
- Johnson likely to start as the sub, so he'd need to play almost three quarters of AFL football. Big ask.
- Low on match fitness.

I'd personally play him in the VFL again and then select him for the Essendon game but I won't be surprised if he is named on the weekend.

Think he could sub and play Johnson from the start. Benny did a shoulder so has probably been doing a decent amount of fitness work so should be ok imo.

Think you really need to roll the dice with both of them though because it's going to take 3-4 weeks at least for them to catch back up to match intensity. Playing them both is a risk we need to take even if it slightly diminishes our chances of winning this weekend.

INS: Swan, Johnson, Krakouer, Toovey, Wood
OUTS: Mooney, Seedsman, Sinclair, Elliott, Jolly

B - Toovey Brown Tarrant
HB - O'Brien Reid Maxwell
C - Shaw Swan Sidebottom
HF - Thomas Cloke Wellingham
F - Didak Dawes Fasolo
R - Wood Beams Pendlebury
INT - Johnson Blair Clarke

SUB - Krakouer

Is this just your guess at the side, or confirmed?

One of Jolly or Maxwell won't play, in fact it could be that both don't come up, which means at least one of Clarke, Seedsman or Sinclair will get a reprieve where they probably don't deserve one.

As far as Krakouer and Johnson go, I'd be playing both, starting Johnson on the field at half back and if Goldsack is fit, I'd also be playing him down back and leaving Taz up forward.

Krakouer should be the sub, of all the likely inclusions he's coming off the worst preparation, Johnno would have been running for months, while Krak only started running about 7-8 weeks ago.

My money is gonna be the Eagles unfortunately. No Jolly will make it hard.
If Jolly is out (I personally think he'll play) i dont think our chances will be significantly better. Our problem has been capitalizing on our ruck dominance, and playing against the best midfield in the comp I have the feeling we'll go down in this one.

It's just not the best midfield in the comp, it's also the best ruck combo in the league. Can you imagine Wood against Cox and Nic Nat?

EDIT: Sorry kids, didn't realised the above was from a Weagles supporter

Wood beat them, or came out even at least, the last time he played on Cox.

For work around the ground, Wood will be fine. I think he'll desperately struggle in the ruck though if he plays.
