I think I've seen enough now to draw a line through us in terms of being a contender now regardless of whether we win, lose or draw this one - we've somehow gone back to playing an insipid, non-threatening brand of football that doesn't really worry the opposition or put them under pressure.

Couple that with our poor finishing, incessant fumbling, notable lack of second and third efforts on a regular basis, and our predilection for dropping the ball on top of our key forwards when there isn't a clean lead to kick it to, as opposed to putting the ball in a dangerous spot that gives them a run and jump at it, and you have something which I don't think any team in the competition will be particularly bothered by coming into a game against us.
