We really need to control the midfield tomorrow night, with nathan brown missing i can see geelong going tall in their forward line which could expose us. I think they will try and get away with stephenson doing the bulk of the ruck work allowing west to go forward alongside hawkins and podsiadly.
We have reid and keeffe but thats it, which means maxy or even goldsack gets the third tall.
Our key forwards look down on form, lonergan will go to cloke, taylor to dawes leaving scarlett free. We may use goldsack as a forward tag on scarlett but if the cats tall forwards get hold of us it could be a long night.
Would play daisy up forward with dids and sinclair and hopefully they can do some damage.
Wood very unlucky, jolly needs to perform.
I was a lot more confident a few days ago than i am now, that being said we can still win and if both sides hold their previous form we will win.
Start is very important, was jumped in both minor round games last year and had a goal against us in the first 10 seconds in grand final.
CARN THE PIES

I apologise but couldnt see a SC topuc thread, but will also be relevant,

How will Dale Thomas's return affect Steel sidebottoms, in terms of game time, midfield time ect and SC output? hisstats seem to have increased in Daisy's absence?

Thanks

Interesting question.
I think Daisy will play on the wing and find himself resting up forward to give us that Xfactor.
I don't believe it will affect Sidebottom too much tbh.

They play 2 different positions and are 2 Different Types of Players. Daisy is a Match Winner while Sidebottom is more of a Hard Worker with Great Finishing skills

I would be surprised if the cats will play big Orren. I think they would have liked him against Wood, with West playing up forward. If that was the case the pies might be forced to move Goldy back. But with Jolly playing i think the cats will like West/Hawkins ruck combo. Not sure Orren can play anywhere but ruck and when he is getting smashed they are basically a man down.
