Merrett more wing, McGrath more HB, Shiel more HF, Parish, Brayshaw, Stringer/Hobbs/Caldwell the inside types.

A player like Brayshaw just makes the team look more balanced, doesn't need to be him.

Ah I'm with ya, yeah those guys have some of the qualities we need around the ball for sure.

Look I'm not that worried about our performance on the weekend, I know we are better than that and will be better than that.

Less class more grunt and we'll be ok, Hobbs, Durham, Caldwell and even Voss as a wrecking ball to test out.

I don't think Merrett needs CBA to be effective, he could easily play outside all game and play well.

Greenwood was out of nowhere, I'm not sure he moves if Noble didn't already know him though.

Voss is the right size and level of natural aggression to maybe be what we need. Let's hope he can do the learnings ASAP and not need 4 seasons of it like Worsfold did.

Our half-back line is fully fit at the moment, I imagine he's somewhere in the Redman, Hind, Cutler group of rebounding defenders. Maybe a wing option though I don't recall comments about his running power being notable.

I’d say a wing would be his main spot.

Mcdonagh was meant to be a ready to go draftee and he hasn’t even got near the team as yet.

I don’t think there’s anything in that, you’re drafting someone like that to be an immediate selection option and not have to sit on a shelf for 18 months developing like Lord for example, him not playing now when all of our small defenders are available is no surprise.
