The knock is his is 76kg . The risk is he is another skinny KP prospect that will have to put on 10 to 15 kg.
He is basically Harry Jones and will need 3 or 4 seasons .

its too early for any to announce imo given the review/coaching situation.

Ones to watch for mine will be Dunkley, Henry, Logue, Stocker, Setterfield, Bedford & Henry.

Not having a coach doesn't inherently change where our list is it, someone like a Dunkley would see an obvious midfield slot regardless of whether we had a coach or not, it's just whether that would override the other options on the table for him.

with Dunkley too, were we any worse than we were in 2020?
Players leaving, DoF clipping them, coaching ambiguity, board issues.

2 years on, things still need changing but I think we're making a better fist of it now than we did then. And we can compensate with more $$ if need be

I agree with what your saying - Dunkley in particular though seems to motivated by moving for family. It’s either port, Brisbane or staying bulldogs for me. Which is quite frustrating cause he’s literally a massive need. But not having a coach/all the negative media around us whether it’s a media agenda push or not would definatly sway a few people from not coming.
Not all but definatly a few, be interesting over the next couple weeks if we dip our finger into a few pies.

Remember that year Saad wasn't linked to us, until he was. When Shiel was linked to Carlton, until he wasn't. When Jake Kelly wasn't linked to us, until he was traded suddenly. There's been a handful of big names talked about so far, and plenty of fringe players not being talked about that will end up moving clubs.

Plenty of things go on behind closed doors, and there's been a distinct lack of leaks coming out of the club since Barham came in and half the board went out.

Also they might simply decide that a Top-5 Pick + 2 x Davey + whatever other picks they wrangle and frontloading some contracts to move our salary glut in to 2023 instead is a good play so we can see how the side looks in 2023 and make some FA / Trade moves then.

Already been stocker and Bedford linked to us. Not big names but players that can play a role. Teams will come for our pick 22 so we’ll get involved at some point.

With all these players nominating clubs, I think the best we are looking at is Dyson Heppell nominating us.

one thing to note, Mahoney keeps things on the down-low. always thought it was a Melbourne thing, but since he's come over we've been pretty coy.

I’d add success and moving home as common third and fourth reasons. But there is usually not just one motivation.

Dont forget pick 4. Very good chance there the most talented player on our list and should be given every chance to play early. Like if its drafting Tsatas than probably picking him off half back instead of Hind

Cox is also missing from that original list. Still rather see him a wing for now and pick Reid back

Nic Martin had a great year as a high half forward that gets up and back. Can also hit the scoreboard and is a pretty good user inside 50
