Not all that surprising. No coach. Team played badly. Board issues. Not like players would be seeing us on the up at the moment.
We just have to deal with our lot right now which will be going to the draft and maybe picking up a fringe player or two.

Brisbane picking up Bowes, Dunkley , Ashcroft and fletcher aswell as potentially Gunston lol whatever is a salary cap

Given he was originally from Cairns and moved to the GC to increase his chances of being drafted I suspect he does like Queensland.

Not that are AFL ready we don't. Rampe, Blakey, Fox, McCartin x 2 vs BZT, Ridley, Kelly and Lav.

I think everyone knows he is talented. Crazy talented in juniors, showed flashes in first few years and in a final. But been missing since for multiple reasons.

Just hasn’t worked out with us unfortunately. I wouldn’t blame any club giving him a chance. I
Mean polish the rock to see if there is a gem under there.

I don’t think the fact it’s Sydney makes it like we don’t know what he is. But hey all opinions here so

I don't even think he needs polishing. I think he is fine as is and the weakness of the side make him and many of our defenders look poor, the difference being they are lower level draft picks so the expectations are far lower.

Why? Unlike defence, until recently half forwards have never been an area of expertise for them and half of that is lucking out on Heeney. They've had 20 years of great defence.

says more about us when a player like Adam Treloar nominates an already stacked Bulldogs midfield, when Luke Dunstan lands at an already powerful Demons midfield, when Josh Dunkley reportedly wants to land at Brisbane now. We can't even get a fringe player to nominate us in a position we are so desperate to fill, all in the meanwhile "the rich get richer" as someone eo eloquently put it.



I would be bitterly bitterly disappointed if we don't land any one of Bytel, Collier - Dawkins, Ely Smith, Jack Bowes, Jack Graham etc. Absolutely primed for us to take a free swing.

He would be in the 12 - 25 range and probably not the 20 - 30 range at those top clubs I would say.

Would be given every opportunity to start in our best 22. Would probably need to work for it in those better clubs.
