That's a massive ish.
The only thing Cairns has in common with GC is tourists and beaches.

I hope we're asking the question. I thonk he'd have more opportunity at EFC.
And rain and frogs .

North has already said about 1 month ago that they will match a bid to force a trade if band 1 is not guaranteed.

I don't think Essendon will risk having to use their 1st rounder for McKay

It wouldnt be the first time its been said and wont be the last

Im okay if the assistance is bumping up compo from band 2 to band band 1 if the offer is <750 and im also fine with band 1 if its 800

This is irrelevant to calculating the compo pick.
So the 750-800 benchmark stays the same forever?

Bonner is 190cm

I like Harmes as he'd help out inside and he's a tackling beast and defends well
Bonner is a half back only.

Bonner actually interests me abit. We need some drive from halfback. As a DFA I hope we have a look

Yeah. I liked him in his draft year. But iffy kicking, but good engine if i recall.
Port well stocked with williams, farrell, bergman, DBJ, houston so not surprised they let him go.
Surprised they just delisted him

With Mckay and Goldy i believe we have 32 main list

33 (Gresham)
34 (Snelling)

Gives us potentially 4-6 more spots if we keep rookie to 4-5 (Tex, Menzie and 2 of Massimo/Hunter/Voss)

We dont need list cloggers that in spots were already full in (Midfield)

Wonder how many picks we end up with in the draft

1st rd
2nd rd
Zerk a future pick or something late 20s/early 30s
Baldwin upgrade (or did you count him?)

If gresham and/or harmes come in, thats gotta be snellings papers stamped.

Think i counted Baldwin

Id think so, certainly if Gresham comes

Id much prefer Bonner over Harmes for a list spot. Dont rate either but atleast a left footer half back is a list need

Unless were playing Zerrett pure half back which im not opposed i wanted it a few years ago and seem to end after 1 round 1 flogging to Geelong. I hope he does some work there in the offseason with Shiel

Bonner is not combative in my opinion and I would rather Durham at hb and play tsatsas and perhaps a Wilson on a wing with Martin

Tsatas as a winger is an interesting idea.

I like harmes. Purely because we need the aggression. And he can play middle if needed.

Hehe. Well, we do need some depth
But i cant imagine he'd not be in our 22.
Not in the middle

We have these guys capable if we have several injuries

Zerrett
Parish
Hobbs
Caldwell
Perkins
Tsatas
Stringer
Setterfield
Shiel
Top 10 pick

Depth isnt our issue, its the top end quality that is. We dont have enough list spots to be wasting away

The only world where Harmes could be ok, and i say just ok, is if we 100% commit to Zerrett as a half back for the next 2 years or they give us pick 24 and Harmes for Shiel (Which would be unlikely)

Of your bringing in 2 x 26 year olds and a 28 year old, your time aim is 2025

Would target harmes as a HF who can play mid vs the other way around.
He and gresh lift our pressure in the fwd line.

Im not sure they do, both arent super quick

Forward line you have
2MP
Langers
Stringer
Gresham
2nd ruck/Weideman

Locked away and the other 2 spots probably have to be either be a genuine small forward pressure and/or a Caldwell/Perkins/Hobbs

Our front 2/3s are (15 players)

Zerrett
Parish
Hobbs
Caldwell
Perkins
Stringer
Setterfield
Shiel
2MP
Langers
Stringer
Gresham
2nd ruck/Weideman/H.Jones
N.Martin
Durham
Genuine small forward with speed (Menzie/Davey/Guelfi)

Thats 16. Doesnt even include Tsatas. Which 2 is he significantly better then and not destroying structure(small forward) or negating the ability to develop?

For me its
Perkins
Setterfield
Tsatas
Top 10 pick playing VFL in our best side with Harmes and i just dont see that point

Id rather try find a developing ruck or a kid at 40-45 instead that could be something or atleast offer depth/quality to other areas of need KPF, Ruck, HBFs, Project mid

I have two issues there - shiel and parish in the same side and perkins and stringer in the same side (with langford and wright, who i pick ahead of them).

Just not sure they work together

Im not sure i agree. Perkins and Stringer especially. But why does it need to work

Are we winning the flag next year?
