LOL - we want them to be critical of the club to remove that boys club feel but when they are - they are hated.

I guess, they should just be critical of things dthat don't really matter - like the lenth of the grass at Adelaide Oval.

Maybe he meant Brendan Bolton?
-Comes from the school of Clarkson
-100% coaching record
-would be a good fit for your club

I'd sooner you kept him...

Blind Freddy could have coached the Hawks for 6 games and done as much with all of Clarkson's coaching team around him...lot different to being the head honcho, selecting his own coaching panel, fitness crew etc..way, way different scenario.

I don't know how good or bad Bolton might be but I'm amazed any emphasis is being put on things like those games he coached and so on..

Big difference between being critical, and making up rumours that are actively damaging to the club.

Not that I think Clarkson was any chance of coming anyway.

you'd think Clarkson is now the undisputed best coach in current AFL ranks given his results, so hopefully we get someone within his ranks in our footy department next year to map out his way for reference.

That was supposed to happen with Sando
pretty fair point that... i wonder if Sanderson was able to implement his version of the Geelong way, it seems as though his communication skill was the main issue which probably makes it hard to get it done?

Why I don't really like Bolton:
Clarkson had Will Langford in the team before his break and he was doing pretty well for a rookie.

When the break came, Bolton dropped Langford. I still don't know why. He replaced him with Litherland, who did ok, but clearly he wasn't a better choice.

Clarkson then returns and so does Langford. The boy then tears it up, especially in the last month.

Is this is an indicator of Boltons ability to pick and nurture talent?

I thought it was an indication that they rested Langford and got some games into Litherland.

Langford was dropped to work on some aspects of his game. They interviewed Chris on the VFL coverage vs Melbourne at Casey Fields and he said that was why. He obviously did was required and got another go.
