We were going to be taking the little tacker to his first game tonight but the mother in law has come through to babysit at the last minute. Now I'm on the fence, I'm sure he'd love the experience but we would also love an evening together in sweet, sweet freedom.

Beautiful day for footy - 19 degrees and almost no wind, spent the last 20 minutes walking around in the sunshine, and about to head off to the game. Evening is supposed to be still, clear and about 14 degrees by 9pm when the game ends.

Global warming working beautifully.

Rule of thumb for me is that if ANZAC day is a nice day, the winter tends to be mild.
