Lol - no prizes for seconds “champ” getting owned as a troller isn’t great bully. You have kids don’t you?
Calling out bullshit isn’t trolling, it’s a public service. I’m sorry if that upsets you.

Rushing Kreuger back shows our desperation, but you know he won't die wondering and will give his all.

Also kinda shows what little we expect of McStay. Can you smash into guys and make it hard for them to outmark you? You’ll do then.

On the plus side Kreuger is a better zone-busting kick.

You do get into far more stoushes on here than anyone else. Quite the accomplishment.

Just playing devils advocate….
(Have no skin in this game)

Why do you think he doesn’t have souces?
But goes early and is arrogant in his comments due to wanting to be right?

You’re a very smart poster.
Just interested into what you think his motivation is?

Happens when you decide you belittle others for their opinion!

Whether they are right or not!!
He isn’t stating it as opinion though; he’s stating it as fact. And is usually wrong.

What I don’t get in general on this board is why people care when someone with “inside info” posts?
Why cut them down if they are wrong?
Yes, yes, why would one be annoyed by being lied to… let me think…

Plenty of reasons they could be wrong…trust me!
First and foremost being completely made up information.

Don’t we enjoy people with inside info posting here?
We do. He isn’t one.

You’re very kind.

If forced to guess, I would say attention seeking. This is also informed by this poster’s tendency to declare that he is taking a break from Twitter because of trolls, only to backflip half an hour later and say he is never leaving.

All a bit melodramatic.

Really?

So the way I type something dictates how I’m perceived?!?

Wow….IMO (better get that right)….that’s unbelievable in how narrow minded people are.

It’s a forum of options.
As far as I’m concerned, everything (no matter how phrased) is opinion….is it not?
Or are people coming here to look for the truth?

I don’t think people should be lied to, tricked or get their hopes up on trade rumours from someone making it up etc. If you don’t agree with me cool but I personally think it’s a douchebag thing to do and will continue to highlight it when I see it :)

Of course. This is surprising to you?

When someone posts “Kreuger is shit” it’s quite obvious that this is subjective and an opinion.

When someone posts “Kreuger has a stress fracture in his navicular” it’s not a subjective matter, and there is no reason to assume it’s the poster’s opinion, however it is that one could form such an opinion without specific knowledge anyway. Add to that that the poster claims to have inside information, and is very dismissive of anyone who doubts him.

Agree 100%

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating for people to come on and lie.

Nor am I defending rubbish!!!

I’m just purely saying (which I feel is falling on deaf ears) that we don’t actually know whether he has sources or not…..that’s all.

Of course. This is surprising to you?
Was rhetorical.

But posters on here are going to use falsehoods as their unit of measure….

So how much does he have right?
Or are we only focusing on what is wrong?
Are we better off for him/her not posting?

I don’t care either way btw.
Guess I’m just being an idiot (THE Idiot) for suggesting it’s not as bad as everyone thinks :)

It doesn’t have to be a big deal. Most posters who know the account, know to ignore it. Much like the stories on the cover of New Idea at the supermarket.

Unfortunately others who are less well initiated get sucked in, or pass the information on as factual, and then it’s unclear that the source wasn’t legitimate.

So the general consensus is to drive them off the board because posters “know”?

Really?
How do these posters “know” btw?

Why doesn’t that extend to posts about players skills or off field stuff?

Seems like a personal opinion and decision to me!!

Just playing devils advocate!!

The consensus amongst the regulars is to ignore this person when they claim to have inside knowledge.

Through having rarely been correct on anything that wasn’t already publicly available information.

Why doesn’t that extend to posts about players skills or off field stuff?
Assessments of players skills are by nature subjective. Off field stuff he could absolutely claim to have inside information about, and I would encourage anyone with a vested interest to ignore him.

Agree to disagree then.

Ok….so ignore him/her!

(I’m just being a d1ck now)…..but why not just ignore ? Why continually call them out. :)

Anyway.
Think we both have a valid point and this could go on all night !! :)

I’m not going to keep defending someone I don’t trust….just to “be right”!!!

You evidently see some value in posting speculation as fact.

Me, I prefer the truth.

I also enjoy reading considered opinion when it comes to Collingwood…

… or even just a good laugh.

This poster provides d) none of the above.

Omg!!!!

You really think that post is going to end well?

Ffs mate.
It’s no different to stupid posts by people who claim to have inside info :)

He’ll injure himself jumping into a pack and hit a running back into the pack Murphy who’s not even playing, that’s how well he’s going.
Let’s hope he can hold off getting injured until late in the game.

So……shall we bring the discussion back to the actual footy stuff?

I think our injuries make this such a tactically-interesting game.

I personally think we need to play AJ mostly forward tomorrow to give us an overhead marking target other than Checkers. So that means Frampton & Krueger doing most of the ruck work.

If that’s the case, what do you all think should be our key defensive match-ups? With Murphy out and Frampton rucking, does that mean Maynard has to play on a tall?

If so, who goes to Stringer? Keeping him quiet and blunting the impact of Draper will take us a long way towards victory - or defeat if we can’t limit their influence.

Thoughts?

I don’t see where you’re coming from here, quite happy to ignore whomever the **** I please. Don’t see what’s controversial about that. Like I said; agree to disagree.
