Just thought I'd mention the bloke we drafted after Cam hopefully is ready to go pre-season, there is no reason this guy cannot claim a spot, he's rated as a strong contested mark and probably a bit of back-up ruck so it shouldn't be doom and gloom. Sure he doesn't have the cool nickname and long flowing mane *maybe he's been growing the locks?

Also, Taberner needs to work on finger elongation techniques to increase the dukes, and will be stronger from another off-season plus there is A.Pearce. You only need one bloke to stand up, lets just back the guys in and also assume we can do a West Coast 2006 and just have the most outstanding goal kicking midfield going.......sans goldfish eating and suspect off-field behaviour

How this thread will go:

Reply 1: He's injured and crap
Reply 2: He's decent and will slot in after getting over his injuries
Reply 3: Middle ground reply from one of the forums older heads
Reply 4: Troll account angry at Lyon

Any forward who presents half-well will get a lot of ball in our forward structure moving forward with an assumed more attacking style of play. Just get your damn body right Apeness

Rate his natural game far more than Taberner's, and I like the natural aggression he's shown in the couple of games he's managed. If it's him and Taberner ripe and ready round one, there is absolutely no question who I'd go with.

Taberner is quite possibly the most timid man to play for Fremantle since Jacquie Hannath.

We'll all be wearing purple ape suits next year. Still reckon he'll develop into an absolute beast when he gets over his injuries. Big boy is Apeness. :thumbsu::footy::rainbow::fire::D

There was a WAFL game last year where he took some rippers in the lead, under heavy heavy pressure. At the time Taberner was doing what i thought he was built to do, gallop around far and wide making his tall opponent follow him with his tongue hanging out.

If Apeness is right, play both, get Taberner bacl to that. Development - 1 game at AFL standard = how many games WAFL

Can I lock in 4 Eddie:

Why the **** do we need to even have a thread about Apeness. We should have bloody Hogan if Ross/Bond/Lloyd knew what the **** they are doing. Bloody hell, you've seen that picture with him in a Freo scarf. He's half way here. It's obvious - we trade Suban, Mzungu, Clarke, Paul Hasleby, and Clinton Wolf for Hogan FFS, then we don't need to rely on a player who can't even get on the park at WAFL level.

Plus we know that it's Lyon's game plan that caused Apeness' injury - having fallen awkwardly when he fell asleep waiting for the ball in the fwd line during training drills. When is Ross going to wake up and get with the times ... you've got to kick it forward FFS!!!

I'm sick of it!!!!

Dude knows how to bust open a pack.

This says it's from a city called Tianjin but it's actually footage looking at Subiaco Oval from a building in the city when the big fella was playing:

The second effort was impressive.
