Durdin is a really handy player and we hope will be a gun.
With Papley, as good as he might be, it’s a good reminder that we simply don’t have to hit on every single one of our targets. It’s fine to miss out (Cogs, Shiel, Papley) and spend the money on players that can plug holes for less (Cerra, Saad, Hewett) and extend contracts (McKay, Walsh, Cripps). We couldn’t do everything.
Definitely happy about missing out on Papley and especially Shiel now
